Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to MY FES, provided both as a website (the "Website") and as an iOS application (the "App"). Both save the festivals you create to our servers. Where the two differ, each section notes which applies.

2. Information We Collect — Website

On the Website, MY FES collects:

• Festival content — Festival names and artist lineups you create and submit.
• Reaction data — Your attendance intent (I'd go), price willingness, and artist preferences (Wanted).
• Visitor ID — A randomly generated anonymous identifier used to prevent duplicate reactions. On the Website it is stored in your browser's local storage; in the App it is stored on your device. This is not linked to any personal identity.
• Report data — Content of reports submitted through the reporting feature.

3. Information We Collect — iOS App

When you tap "Create" in the App, the festival you built is saved to our servers so that it can be shared with a link. We collect:

• Festival content — The festival name, the poster template you selected, and the artist names you entered as headliners and supporting acts. Nothing else is attached to a saved festival: no account, no email address, no device identifier, and no location data.
• Reaction data — Your attendance intent (I'd go) and price willingness for festivals made by other users.
• Visitor ID — A randomly generated anonymous identifier stored on your device to prevent duplicate reactions. Not linked to any personal identity.
• Purchase data — When you buy a paid poster template, purchase and entitlement information is processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We receive a record of which template was purchased, tied to an anonymous identifier. We never receive or store your name or payment card details.

Festivals saved from the App are public: anyone who has the link can view them, and they may also appear in the gallery on our Website. Please do not enter anything you would not want to be publicly visible, including the names of private individuals.

The App does not require an account and does not ask you to sign in. When you react to a festival made by someone else in the App — tapping "I'd go" or choosing what you would pay to attend — we collect that reaction data, together with an anonymous Visitor ID. The Visitor ID used by the App is generated separately from the one used by the Website and is stored on your device; the two are never linked to each other.

If you would like a festival you saved to be deleted, contact us at 1takeonly@gmail.com with the festival's link.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and display the MY FES service.
• To process and restore in-app purchases (App).
• To aggregate anonymized data on artist demand and price intent for our own research and analysis.
• To identify and address policy violations through the reporting system (Website).

5. Data We Do Not Collect

MY FES does not require account registration. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying information unless you contact us directly.

6. Local Storage

MY FES stores an anonymous visitor ID locally on your device (browser local storage on the Website, on-device storage in the App). The Website also stores preferences such as template selection. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. Anonymized, aggregated insights derived from reaction data collected on the Website and in the App are used for our own research and analysis. We may share such aggregated, anonymized insights with third parties in the future; if we do, we will update this policy before doing so.

8. Data Retention

Festival content and reaction data are retained for as long as the service operates. This applies both to festivals created on the Website and to festivals saved from the App; deleting the App does not delete festivals you have already saved. You may request deletion of content you created by contacting us.

9. Third-Party Services

MY FES uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Database hosting for the Website and for festivals saved from the App.
• Vercel — Web hosting and deployment for the Website.
• Apple — Processes in-app purchases in the App.
• RevenueCat — Manages in-app purchase and entitlement records for the App.

10. Children's Privacy

MY FES is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised date.
